Bose To Debut Hard Drive-Based Media System For Your Car

Bose, the designer headphones and stereo systems maker, has now extended its horizons by stepping into automotive infotainment world with Bose Media System. The hard drive-based media system is easier to use and its simple interface requires comparatively less level of driver’s interaction to enhance safe driving. The whole unit is controlled via the device’s two knobs which have built-in proximity sensors. The system is equipped with customized 5.1-channel surround sound Bose audio system which includes FM/ AM broadcast radio, satellite radio and multi-format disc. The unit also has a built-in 30GB hard drive, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 input, iPod connectivity and a GPS system. Another amazing feature is uMusic, its Intelligent Playback System which continually learns and responds, playing music you want to hear, just at the press of a single button. The pricing detaisl are hyet undisclosed. But, considering Bose plans to debut their media system this year in Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, it won’t be anything but expensive!
