24kt Gold & Diamonds Macbook Pro

The news of the gold plated MacBook Pro from Computer Choppers created a buzz in the blogosphere. Now, the firm is offering the golden Macbook Pros online to customers who don’t want the hassle of offline transactions. The two versions available are the 24kt Gold & Diamonds 15″ Macbook Pro and the 24kt Gold 15″ Macbook Pro. The 24kt Gold & Diamonds 15″ Macbook Pro comes with 2.2GHz or 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 802.11n wireless, up to 4GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory with a faster, 800MHz frontside bus, 2 GB of RAM, 160 GB internal drive, internal 8x double-layer SuperDrive, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT Graphics with 256MB SDRAM, and a 15.4″ TFT display.
On the other hand, the 24 karat gold-plated MacBook Pro comes with its exterior finish in polished 24kt and the interior is satin 24kt gold. Other specs are almost the same as that of the 24kt Gold & Diamonds 15″ Macbook Pro.

Now, we have with us the future of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and it has been named SilverFlow, Well, the 2057 Mercedes-Benz SilverFlow is Mercedes’ design car for the future showing sleek lines inspired by Mercedes racers of yesteryears.
The SilverFlow is crafted from micro- metallic materials which can be arranged by magnetic fields randomly on the car key fob. Sounds cool! It means when you are not driving it, you can melt it down and later re-assemble it with magnetic fields. Nike Golf’s Sasquatch Sumo Irons

We are about to see an increase in sasquatch sightings on golf courses very soon. Nike’s new SQ Sumo irons are set to hit the shelves on November 1. Touting an ultra-thin Cryo Steel face plate on the 4-7 irons to increase distance, the SQ Sumo irons also have a TPU polymer insert to lessen vibrations at impact and improve the feel. Tom Stites, director of club creation for Nike Golf, has claimed it to be the most forgiving iron Nike Golf has ever developed. The Nike Sasquatch Sumo 4-GW Irons are priced at US $800 each.

The Evian 2008 Christian Lacroix bottles

Every year French water company Evian launches special edition bottles, and this year, they have come up with two limited edition bottles designed by famed fashion design house, Christian Lacroix. The Evian’s 2008 Holiday bottle comes in two versions, the pret-a-porter and haute couture.

The prêt-a-porter version will tentatively be sold at Pusateri’s, Wholefoods, Sommerhill market, and 5 Saisons. The 750 ml glass bottle will retail for approximately $9.99 in restaurants in high end grocery stores. On the other hand, there are just 99 bottles of haute couture, which will be distributed worldwide and auctioned off for charity. The starting bid for the limited edition haute couture bottle is US $1,000.

Bang & Olufsen and Samsung’s Serenata music phone

The phone, as expected, touts advanced acoustics, interface experience and design ingenuity of Bang & Olufsen. The phone’s organic rounded shape seems to be inspired from the pebbles shaped by ocean waves. Boasting with 4GB of flash memory, the Serenata music phone rocks a 2.26” color TFT LCD display, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 support, WAP browser, 3 hours of claimed talk time, and unto 280 hours of standby time.

Ascent Ti is hell cheaper than other Vertu phones

A few days back, the Ascent Ti from Vertu was spotted on a FCC filing and now, it’s officially out. It’s not pricey as the other Vertu models such as the Diamond ($88,000) and Signature Cobra ($310,000) but still, it’s not that much cheap at $6,628. The new handset touts premium materials, including a Titanium chassis, cowhide leather back, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face and polished ceramic. You can have yours in a choice of black, red or brown. Other salient specs include 3-megapixel camera with flash, Nokia’s Symbian Series 40 OS, and support for 3G and quadband GSM networks. The Vertu Ascent Ti will be available in stores shortly.
