Adidas celebrates 60th anniversary with blinged out Diamond Pack

Setting up a milestone year for the company, Adidas is celebrating its 60th anniversary of being in the fashion world. Having already started an enormous campaign featuring iconic personalities from the world of fashion, music and sports, the brand with the three stripes unveils the “Diamond Pack” that includes the classic Superstar model and a T-shirt. The classic sneakers are blinged out with six 0.2K diamonds on the lateral side of each foot of the shoe. In addition, Swarvoski crystals are added on the lacelock and the tongue, adding even more elegance and a luxurious feel to the timeless sneakers. The bejeweled metal piece placed on the tongue can be detached so that it can be used as a necklace. Apart from that, the T-shirt that comes bundled with the pack comes with 409 Swarovski crystals encrusted to craft a beautiful Adidas logo on the front of the shirt. Priced at $800, the Superstar sneaks will be released on January 31, 2009, across Taiwan.

The $1,950,000 1953 Maserati A6GCS up for grabs at Fantasy Junction

Vintage cars are not just a part of history, but a reminder of the bygone days that had a touch of luxury and sophistication attached to it that is hard to preserve. The Fantasy Junction, broker of classic, and special interest cars, who sells historically significant European classic and racing cars, sets the “1953 Maserati A6GCS” for sale. The stunning roadster that was a very important model for the company right from its debut comes laden with twin plug Inline 6 Cyl, DOHC engine that can delivers approx. 170 hp. The exterior of the vintage car is painted in radiant red color with red leather interior, making it go parallel with each other. It is believed that the car was driven by famous Formula One racer Fangio for Pompeo at Thompson in December, 1953. Heftily priced at $1,950,000, the A6GCS is one of the Maserati’s most historically significant and attractive sports cars that will certainly prove to be an excellent investment and would succeed in gratifying a majority of hard-to-please people. Swarovski-studded Honda Life Style Study for rich women

Adding bling to cars is in fashion these days. The name isn’t popular enough this time though, but after being bejeweled with Swarovski crystals, the car has become an immeasurable treasure. The car is the Life Style Study by Honda that is on display at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon. Designed in a way to target the female cadre, the small coupe comes with pink Swarovski crystals scattered all over the body, including the exhaust pipe tip and wheels. Along with the small sedan, Honda is exhibiting two other cars named the Sports Modulo Fit and the S2000 for automotive fashionistas.

Victoria Beckham shows off diamond-studded Birkin Bag worth £80,000

Victoria Beckham’s bag collection continues to grow as she shows off her latest addition — a limited edition Hermes Birkin Himalayan bag. The Hermes bag, which is one of three in the world, costs her £80,000 ($116,665). What makes it so expensive are hundreds of diamonds etched on its body, including a three-carat diamond on the lock. The fashionista, 34, showed off her diamond-studded handbag in Dubai as husband David made his debut for AC Milan Victoria. Beckham, who owns this luxury bag that is so elegant, chic and so posh, is certainly one of those three lucky ladies on the earth to have one.

Rolls Royce Phantom kissed by gold glamour

Giving the Midas touch to high-priced cars is an entirely different domain, and affluent people who like to pimp their luxury sedans with gold and gem stones keep hitting the headlines. Helping him show his opulence on the roads, another car collector from the UK has done a paint job to his Rolls Royce Phantom by covering its outer surface with a gold-plated sheet. The four lucky wheels also receive a little Midas touch. The gold-plated Rolls Royce spotted somewhere on the UK roads is said to be the only eternal piece of art in the world that would certainly be a valuable addition to the bling-bling vehicles top list. However, there isn’t any factual information about how much money was spent on the car to give it a classy appeal. What we know is it adds an immeasurable value to the owner’s garage.

Bugatti 1937 Bugatti Type 57S to fetch over $8.7 million

A vintage car model 1937 Bugatti Type 57S, originally owned by Earl Howe, is set to break new records when it goes under the hammer next month in Paris. The precious gift left behind by surgeon Harold Carr for his descendants remained undiscovered in a garage for more than 50 years. Finally, his nephew found it lying uncared for years in the garage and was amazed to learn that just 17 of its kind were ever made. The rare piece will go on auction next month at Bonhams’ Retromobile sale and is expected to realize more that €6.2 million ($8.7 million). Earl Howe, the first president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club, was the original owner of the car. Dr. Carr bought it in the ‘50s and locked it up in the garage before he passed away. After remaining untouched for more than half a century, the car is finally out to see the daylight on Feb 7th at an auction arena where it will provoke all buyers to call higher bids.

Peter Aloisson does Nokia E51 with yellow gold and gems

Other than the million-dollar Kings Button iPhone 3G, Peter Aloisson has also decked out the Nokia E51, and there are two models available – the Nokia E51 “Blossoms of the Eight” and the Nokia E51 “Terezzo” (pictured above). The Nokia E51 “Blossoms of the Eight” is made of solid 18 carat yellow gold. It comes beautifully hand engraved with a design of lotus blossoms and the lucky number “8.” On the other hand, the Nokia E51 “Terezzo” is made of solid 18 carat yellow gold. The handset is encrusted with a variety of individually hand cut citrines, amethysts and/or tourmalines. Each gem is being specially hand cut and polished to fit the design of this fantastic piece.
