Explorer of the Seas’ luxury cruise ship

The “Explorer of the Seas” by Royal Caribbean International is one of the most marvelous cruise ships ever built. It’s the third largest passenger ship in the world, after Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 and Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas. The ship (I would better call it a floating city) measures 1,020 feet in length, with a beam of 157.5 feet, a draft of 29 feet and a gross tonnage of 138,000 tons. It can accommodate 3,114 passengers and 1,185 crew. The on-board luxury amenities include almost everything you expect to find in a luxury cruise ship, including an ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall, swimming pools, a casino, palace theatre for 1,350 guests, multimedia screening room, online internet lounge, and a library. Moreover, the ship also features the University of Miami Ocean Lab, a high-tech oceanographic and atmospheric science lab.

World’s Most Expensive Wrist Watches!

While some people might consider luxury watches an extravagance, but for many, luxury designer watches are a perfect way to show off their riches. A luxury watch usually says a lot about the monetary and social status of its owner. If you love to spend your hard-earned money on luxury designer watches, here are some of the world’s most expensive watches, which you would like to add to your luxury watch collection.
Watchmaker: Andreas von Zadora-Gerlof

The latest offering by Andreas von Zadora-Gerlof is the Zadora Timepieces collection that has made me scratch my head at how luxury timepieces can cost. The Zadora watch pictured above is a snake of oxidized palladium and micro pave bejeweled with black and canary yellow diamonds along with superior pear shaped emerald eyes, with a baroque South Sea pearl positioned in its mouth.

Believe me, I have gone totally tongue-tied by the mesmerizing lustrous looks of these lavish watches. You can see the other versions of Zadora watches dubbed the skull, the bee and the pomegranate festooned with gold and precious stones after the jump. And yes, the price tag reads $150,000 each.

Triketec’s V2 Roadster

If you are afraid to ride a motorcycle, then this thing is just for you! It is a three-wheeler vehicle termed as V2 Roadster by Triketec, which stands somewhere between a car and a bike.

The vehicle is motorized by a turbocharged inline three-cylinder engine, has independent suspension at the rear, along with traction control and ABS braking. It weighs 1,227 pounds and has a 92 hp engine. The only thing it lacks is a hood to keep you dry in rough weather!

The odd-looking vehicle is priced at $40,000. It stands not a chance to compare with the fast moving contemporary bikes, priced likely, neither in looks nor in performance!

Diamond-covered Mercedes SL-Class

The Mercedes SL legend began over 50 years ago and to celebrate 50 years the limited edition Mercedes-Benz SL550. This charming diamond covered Mercedes SL was on display at an auto show. It hasn’t been confirmed that the diamonds used are real or fake.
However, this glittering diamond shine automobile would be costing millions even if fake diamonds were used. It would be damn cool to drive this glittering car around the town?

World’s Most Expensive Vodka Costs $1 Million a Bottle

Vodka is supposed to be tasteless but still, people who love its “taste” are ready to pay huge bucks for a single bottle. Earlier, Diaka Vodka, which is made in Poland, was touted to be the world’s most expensive Vodka (pricing unknown). Anyway, a Scotland based company named Blackwood Distillers is producing the triple distilled Diva vodka through a sophisticate process. This vodka is ice-filtered, filtered through Nordic birch charcoal and then passed through a sand of crushed diamonds and gems to make it elegant expression of personal style.

The price per bottle of Diva Premium Vodka is between $3,700 and $1 million, depending on the choice of precious stones used in the bottle. A whopping $1 Million for a single bottle of Vodka! Sounds crazy!

Transforming a Notebook into a Desktop!

We have seen some really interesting notebook concepts earlier, including the dual-display Asustek notebook, Fujitsu’s Turntable PC, and the Canovo Dual Touch Screen laptop. Now, a designer named Yong-Seong Kim has taken a new approach to the design of notebooks. His Go-anywhere desktop docking solution features a large slot behind the LCD display. At this very place, you can slide your notebook in and access all its information from a desktop form factor. At the same time, the screen of the notebook becomes a second display (in portrait mode). The concept is quite inspiring but we don’t know if it will make its way to the shelves.

DiMora Natalia SLS 2

DiMora Motorcar has created the world’s first hand-built sports luxury sedan - the Natalia SLS 2. The $2million marvel takes the credit of being the world’s most luxurious, expensive and technologically advanced car, which is loaded with features that most of us have never heard of.
The Natalia has a variable cylinder, aluminum DiMora Volcano V16 engine with 120 hp. It has a lightweight body and chassis, and over 50 computer systems to monitor every facet of the sedan.
The computer talks to the driver, when it detects signs of drowsiness in him. The Natalia senses the emotional state of the driver and thus adjusts the interior temperature and lighting of the car, and the music accordingly.

It has unique beverage holders, which heat or cool the drinks, as desired. If you happen to be on the rear seat, you can enjoy a high-tech luxury massage while you sip your favorite drink.
The amazing beauty makes use of the color change technology, as Natalia’s color transforms from black to blue in cool exteriors whereas from black to white when it is hot outside.
