The 2007 Mercedes-Benz GL450

In a Class of Its Own, is an adventurous SUV with luxurious amenities, plenty of space, and ample power. The optional features are magnificent. The sound system offers a Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 audio system with rear audio plugs, and there is a mounted auxiliary input for MP3 players, including iPods, in the glovebox. The rear-seat entertainment package offers two screens and two sources, which are mounted into the front-seat head restraints. There is a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, and the front seats are heated and powered with eight-way movement.

At 200 inches long and 75 inches wide, the compact-parking-only spaces might be a tad tight. Inside the GL450 has three rows of seats and comfortably accommodates seven passengers. When all the seats are folded down, there is over 80 cubic feet of available storage. Its towing capacity is 7,500 pounds. The SUV is powered by a 4.6 liter, V-8 engine that provides 335 horsepower. The vehicle's seven-speed adaptive transmission quickly adapts to a driver's ways and then shifts itself accordingly.

The GL450's permanent four-wheel drive ensures a comfortable ride through all types of weather and terrain, and it is the only full-sized SUV with unit-body construction. Visit MBZ's informative website for all details on the GL450.
