Harman Kardon Drive & Play System

There are tons of gadgets that allow you to connect your portable player with your car stereo so you might not be keen on getting to know about a new one. But, then this is not another run-of-a-mill stuff. This Drive + Play 2 from Harman Kardon features a 3.5-inch dashtop color display screen, a wireless control knob for volume adjustments, music selection, and iPod menu controls that can be mounted wherever convenient, and a connection hub that works with Apple’s iPod, Microsoft’s Zune, and most other players. The hub has a line output for direct connection to stereos with audio inputs, and an FM modulator to broadcast music to stereos without them. The unit features a software voice that reads-out menu names and initial letters to let you enjoy your favorite track without diverting your attention from the road. The Harman Kardon system will be available for sale from the next month for an affordable price of $400.
