Rolls Royce Auction to Help Fight Cancer

Here is some great news for Rolls-Royce lovers. Real-estate developer Richard J. Solove, who is well-known for his collection of Rolls Royce cars, is keen to see a cure for cancer. At the age of 82, he wants to do something for the betterment of mankind and to do that, he will auction off 13 of the 14 Rolls Royce cars in his collection late this summer and the auctioned money will be given to the Arthur G. James Cancer hospital and its affiliates to aid cancer research. He hopes to generate $15 million or more with this auction. For your info, he has already gifted $20 million to the hospital back in 1998. The rare collection includes the oldest Silver Ghost in the world, a 1907 Rolls-Royce. The auction will be carried out in Pebble Beach, CA in the month of August. It’s like killing two birds with one stone for the vintage car lovers as they could own a classic Rolls Royce and help fight cancer.
