Man-made No Man Land’s Fort Up for Grab!
Owning an island retreat is one of the most popular lifestyle-trend in the posh playgrounds of the billionaires. If you are interested, a Victorian-era sea fort is up for sale in Britain for a whopping US $8.1 million. I am talking about the No Man Land’s fort, which is situated 1 mile off the coast of Portsmouth. Originally built with a purpose to house 80 sailors to ward off an attack from the French navy, it is currently being served as a luxury hotel equipped with 21 lavish themed rooms, two helipads and heated indoor swimming pool.
The fort is up for sale owing to owner’s financial troubles. Built between 1861 and 1880, the fort has been crafted largely of granite and is 200 feet long and rises 60 feet from the sea. The fort has got its own electricity generators and a borehole sunk into the seabed takes care of the water supply. Alas! This is a game of uber-rich only.
