iDiamond ear - $6,400 earphones set in gold and diamonds

Shure impressed us with their sound-isolating SE420 earbuds, Phonak Group with their barely visible PCAs, and Oticon with their Epoq hearing aid. All of them had great features and big price tags. Now, we have ‘iDiamond ear‘ earphones designed by Heyerdahl jewelry। The sparkling iDiamond ear is made of 18 karat massive gold, set with a total of 204 diamonds, totaling to 1.65 carats.

Mr. Heyerdahl has already created the world’s most expensive iPod dubbed iDiamond. It was crafted as one unique and single piece of jewellery, not for commercial sale, and will be auctioned away for charitable cause in London (March 2008).
Anyway, the diamond-studded iDiamond headphones will sell for $6,400 and they will be produced in a limited edition series of 1000 numbered pairs for exclusivity.
