Luxe on the Links with a Berline Cart

Luxury Golf Carts : Being behind the wheel of a Berline luxury golf cart makes a great day on the links an extraordinary experience. Regardless of a golfer's handicap or skill level, driving one of these makes the owner a bona fide player. Berline Cart presents five ways to leave a lasting impression at the local country club with the Smoothster, the Berline LS, the Berline LSV, the Escalade and the Escalade ESV. The Escalade ESV and the Berline LSV have backseats and enough space to hold up to six passengers. The Escalade ESV can be modified to a four-seater and have a trunk back and cover added to it. All Berline golf carts include self-adjusting rack-and pinion steering, custom paint, alloy wheels, cloth or vinyl seats, headlights, taillights, and turning lights. The motor and chassis are made by Club Car. A 48-volt motor powers the carts, which is the equivalent of a 3.75-horsepower engine. Top speed is nearly 20 mph forward and 9 mph in reverse.
The quiet-running engine goes around 40 miles before needing its battery recharged. Extra goodies can be added on as well. Optional equipment includes a set of 15-inch rims and a grille by Billet, a removable hardtop, a chrome tilt-steering wheel, a set of fog lights, an Alpine sound system, a golf-bag holder and a bag hitch. Additional extras or extensive customization work also is doable upon request. The fiberglass-body golf carts are ready within two to three weeks. The approximate price range for base models is $14,000 to $17,000. The Escalade and Escalade ESV are officially licensed products by GM. Berline's Web site indicates that a 2007 Cadillac Escalade is forthcoming.
