Rolls Royce gets the world's most expensive hood ornament
The prestigious Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament that adorns every Rolls Royce automobile just gone more exclusive with designer Jean Kemanjian working his magic. If driving around in a Rolls Royce is not special enough for you, you might want to take a look at this pimped up mascot. This Hood ornament is worth $200,000, which is enough money to buy ten Honda Accords. The hood ornament itself is made up of platinum and other special metals and then the diamonds are literally paved onto the ornament’s body to make it one of the most expensive car surface ever created. The wings of the hood ornament carry intense yellow diamonds and the body itself carries 150 carats of shimmering D-diamonds. All this for a symbol, which measures just 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. And like truly exclusive things, this hood ornament is completely hand made. This exclusive mascot was commissioned by local luxury car dealership Manhattan Motorcars and can be spotted at the New York Auto Show. Speaking of exclusivity, it’s not for sale or replication.
