Beijing 2008 Limited Edition ChronoScope - An oriental tribute to the ongoing Olympics spell
Although the Omega is the official Olympics time keeper, to capture the spirit of 2008 Beijing Olympics, Ernst Benz, the Swiss watch manufacturer too has come up with Beijing 2008 Limited Edition ChronoScope. Commemorating this global sports fête, in all two models will be released to strap them on to your writs. Intending to demonstrate the essence of Olympics in uber Chinese style, the dials feature a traditional Chinese pattern for fire as well as incorporate traditional Chinese characters for the numerals; with the 8th hour marker done in a contrasting color. Being the first in this latest series, the 47mm watch is being offered in two shades of black and red, to be precise, Noir and Vermilion. Exclusively handcrafted, 88 of each of these stainless steel watches will be out for $5,800. However raising the bar of exclusivity, the watch maker has a special limited edition up its sleeve. Only 8 eight pieces per dial will be available in Black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coated brushed steel for a little extra, that is $6,800.
