We’ve seen safety lockers for cash, jewelry and other collectibles that are worth their weight in millions and billions. But here’s a safe that is exclusively designed to keep your tobacco anthology out of harm’s way. The maker, Döttling, intended to help out all the tobacco buffs by presenting a vault that can keep their pricey possessions dry and crisp. Recently, Döttling sold an antique safe that boasts a humidor with two humidification systems that are fully crafted into the safe. Built in Amsterdam in the late 19th century, it features a high-gloss, black piano finish, and a curved door with the interior comprised of Spanish cedar. Also a smooth, illuminated console cover, controlled by a remote control, hides a second and secretive fully functional humidor. Why the need for secretive humidor? Reasons best known to the maker only! I only know that I don’t need one :)
